'Antonina' is an ongoing project that spans over two years of photographing the exuberant personality of a Russian immigrant hagiographer living in Menidi. Through the use of bold color and light, the work expressively to depict the gentle chaos of Antonina’s world, the intensity of her emotions with their constant ups and lows, during the time they have spent together. Following her on trips on the hot springs near Athens, visiting her house or joining her for walks in the forest, she captures her present with utter curiosity and honors her past with the reverence one might reserve for a saint.
